Determination is going to be very different from most movies in the genre. In general, the genre is much more family-friendly. I think its about time that it got more adult and had a strong story. The only thing I can think of is that Determination has a lot of guns.
Determination is a new game by the same developers of the previous game; Deathloop. The first game also used a similar system of having a player be a Visionary in order to solve puzzles and earn the right to control a time-looping car. Now Determination is a time-looping game, but its not time-looping in the traditional sense. Instead it is a time-looping “no-fault” car-thru-the-wall maneuver.
The game was made for children, and now the developers are working on new graphics. With the addition of the new graphics, the game will look a lot like Deathlooper’s new time-looping game. This is a huge improvement over Deathloop’s time-looping system, and as well for the players.
